Silicone rubber heating foils

Silicone rubber is a strong, flexible elastomer with excellent temperature properties. The silicone rubber insulation layers of the heating foil contain fine internal glass fibers for mechanical protection of the etched heating element and also provide additional mechanical stability to the assembly.

Compared to other insulation materials, silicone rubber insulated heating foils are the most economical for larger sizes.

  • Robust, flexible, and suitable for use up to 235°C

  • Thin (approx. 0.5 mm)

  • Power density up to 1.3 W/cm²

  • UL (ETL) versions available (not standard)

In addition to custom-made solutions, we also supply a number of standard models. These are often used to gain a well-founded understanding of the required power before moving on to a customer-specific solution. Our self-adhesive standard models come with an adhesive layer (PSA) and 20 cm connection wires.
